Dependence Upon God the Father

June 30, 2008

For all you racers who ran in Run for a Reason this weekend:
Brad sent me this link, a story about a man who runs an Ironman Triathlon with his son. For those who don’t know, the Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever. The race encompasses three endurance events: a 2.4 mile (3.86 kilometer) ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer) bike ride, and ending with a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilometer)run.

What a great picture of our utter dependence upon our Father:

Is this some sick joke? Where is the link? You got my interest and left me hanging with nowhere to go. Come on Jeremy (in Christian love)!

What a beautiful analogy! Makes my faith seem so small in that light. How much more we will see clearly someday the true glories and riches of Christ!
